Can I jump in? Looks like the water is nice ![]()
For me, personally, repentance is obedience. When I’m rebellious..I admit to being rebellious and disobedient..I KNOW I’m not in right relationship with God. I get no rest. I might sleep at night but it’s never a good sleep, and all day long my disobedience is like a blaring alarm that just won’t stop. My day is filled with frustration and usually minor injuries..I’ll trip over dust. Sometimes it feels like the HS is smacking me upside the head. “You rebellious, disobedient child! Repent! Now!”
So I do. The rebellious and disobedient days are few and far between now..so..I guess I’m growing. ![]()
Objectively speaking I believe God is changing my heart, and my desires to be in His will. I don’t recall in my previous life of ever spending a day with gongs going off in my head because of something I did, said or even thought of.
If it isn’t God changing my heart then who or what could it be? I know I’ve simplified my experience with disobedience and repentance, but I can’t articulate it because it’s beyond words.
