I think picking my favorite song is like picking my favorite child. LOL There are just too many to choose from! I really like “Always Only Jesus”, “Count 'Em”, “That’s Who I Praise”, “Don’t Stop Praying” among many others.

King Of Glory by Third Day

Who is this King of glory that pursues me with His love
And haunts me with each hearing of His softly spoken words
My conscience, a reminder of forgiveness that I need
Who is this King of glory who offers it to me

Shout to the Lord. It is Well With my Soul (especially the verse below)
The bliss, oh the bliss of this glorious thought
that my sin, not in part, but the whole, was nailed to the cross

It is Well with my Soul

I feel like mine changes daily! :joy: But one of the youth at our church sang this one on Sunday and it’s all I’ve been listening to since!

I remember going through a particularly difficult time and someone introduced me to that song. It was a very powerful reminder of what to do.

October of 2022 my family was driving to a wedding when the car simply died. It was our our only car. Because we were out of state, it took us almost $1,000 to tow our car back to our garage, where it was pronounced dead. We didn’t know what to do. We both had to go to word (my husband works 3rd shift & when he comes home I take the car to my job). We had to drive our older daughter to college.
A friend of ours let us borrow a car for a few days. The first day I was driving it to work I noticed that their Sirius was tuned to a Contemporary Christian station. The song “Don’t Lose Heart” by Steven Curtis Chapman came on & the lyrics hit me. I knew right then & there that everything was going to be OK.
Just a few days later we found our minivan, which has been such a blessing, especially since we have to drop BOTH of our daughters off at different colleges. (Side note: it turned out that I used to be in a Christian performance group with the dealership owner’s wife! They took our dead car in trade - towed it themselves at no charge to us - and managed to arrange a loan we could handle.)

I like “Heaven On Earth” by Newsboys, and “Stars” by Skillet (I enjoy Christian Rock music).
