From Noah and Abraham to Moses and the New Covenant in Christ, God repeatedly chose to relate to people through covenants.
Why do you think covenant is such a central theme in the Bible? What does it reveal about God’s character?

I believe, @ellenvera, that since God is relational as the three Persons in the one God and since he creates us eventually to be his adopted children through Jesus Christ, he has established the old covenant for the nation and individuals in Israel and then the new covenant, which carries on the main ideas of the old one in a new form, he wants a personal relationship or covenant with each one of us through Jesus by the Spirit.
