**Why Is Sabbath Rest Important, Even During Busy Seasons?**

In Exodus 34:21, we are reminded, _“Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.”_ This verse shows us the importance of setting aside time for rest, even during the busiest seasons of life.

Why do you think God commanded us to rest, even when there is still work to be done? How do you personally prioritize rest in the midst of busy schedules?

We tend to feel guilty if we are not constantly busy in America. O decided to declutter Saturdays a few years ago. I was so busy on Sundays with church stuff, I went into work on Monday tired. Saturdays were no longer yard work, housework, and such. I took the day to relax and rest. Huge difference!
