Palm Sunday is this upcoming Sunday. It marks the beginning of Holy Week.
What Does the Bible Say about Palm Sunday?
I’ve always found Palm Sunday convicting. On this day, so many people were hailing Jesus as King and Messiah, and then so many of those same people, just days later, shouted “Crucify him.”
Would I have been one of them? Would you?
Do I truly know who Jesus is and understand that his kingdom is an upside-down kingdom and not one of political, social, or religious power? These are the kinds of things I’m pondering as we prepare for Holy Week. I invite you to ponder them with me and allow the Spirit to move in your heart this Easter season.
