You might be someone's only proof God is listening

Today I received a care package from my crosswalk family. As soon as I got it, the Holy Spirit told me to give some of it away and who to give it to. Honestly, I don’t really know the guy nor do I want to, so I briefly debated it, but a lesson from 2 weeks ago reminded me of the value God places on obedience, so I obeyed. When I approached him, he held out his hand and I said, “I prayed for this; did God send you?” My mouth fell wide open as I acknowledged who sent me. He started to tear up at the realization God was listening.

Family, please hear me. I never know when I will be cut off from you, and this is way overdue that I say this. You are my proof God keeps his word.

Psalm 68:6 says,

“God gives lonely people a family.
He sets prisoners free, and they go out singing.”

I love you all so dearly. Because of you, I have the strength to fight, so it is also because of you that another person was saved today, not from a life in prison, but from something much, much worse.

For those of you who wonder what God could possibly need them for, I say this: YOU are the body of Christ; it is through you His will is done. His will is clearly expressed in the Gospel.

You are my proof God loves me and heard my prayers!

Beautiful testimony @inmate. Keep up the good work for The Kingdom.

'These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:

I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:8-10 (NKJV)

That’s a really powerful thought.

Sometimes it’s easy to underestimate the impact of small moments or simple interactions, but they can mean a lot more to someone else than we realize.

It’s a good reminder that even just showing up or responding with kindness can matter more than we think.
