I was born and raised in church, but did not get saved until age 16; and then was called into the Teaching ministry by God at the age of 21, through a vision, and that call was confirmed by four different traveling evangelists over the following three years. Since then I have held ministerial credentials with three different organizations over the past 50 years, earned a Th.D. in NT Theology, and my main ministry thus far has been teaching and apologetics.
As a teenager my best friend was a Jehovah’s Witness, leading to numerous debates not only with him and his family, but also many of their church elders. Through these exchanges I discovered how to spot false doctrine and started apologetics before I even graduated high school. Through circumstances while in the Marines, I came to have such a personal intimate relationship with God, that I experienced numerous godly spiritual events, close to what we read about Smith Wigglesworth.
In the desolate places back home, we walked and talked together (the Lord and I), and He began teaching me about His covenant, which I had previously never heard about in church. I made Ancient Near Eastern covenanting my doctoral thesis, and studied the subject prolifically, reading the scholars and theologians who had come before me who studied and wrote on the subject; and learning as they did, that the grassroots churches, for the most part, ignore the fact that the NT is not a testament, it is New Covenant Scripture.
