i want to like this kind of stuff, but im sorry, i dont really buy it. i see headlines like this periodically. i find it hard to just believe that ALL the participants are there for the right reason. so many people, especially young ones, are going with a flow that grabs them, and they make the public moves as shown here, but are really just being part of something rather than the actual cause that the headlines like to boast. not trying to be a wet blanket, just being honest about how these sensationalized-sounding headlines hit me.

they remind me of how crisis pregnancy centers sometimes like to say things like, “we saved 200 babies this year,” and neglect to mention the 200 mothers who aborted despite their best efforts. taking credit for the wins, but not the losses. not an exact correlation, but just the sensationalism is what im highlighting. seeing this headline doesnt make my heart soar. rather, i question just how true it is.
