A "Hard Fought Hallelujah" in the middle of all this...noise

I just want to share something that gave me a breath of fresh air this week.

Brandon Lake, a Grammy-winning Christian artist, performed his song Hard Fought Hallelujah on Good Morning America this week, and it honestly felt like a little piece of church right there on national TV. He spoke openly about pointing people to Jesus and shining God’s love into the world.

No flash. No ego. Just genuine faith.

In a world full of shouting, God’s voice still goes out.

Through music. Through testimonies. Through people bold enough to say His name on live TV.

Every hallelujah counts…even the hard-fought ones.

This is a favorite song of a friend. She’s going through a very rough time and identifies with it. It’s true too that the hard-fought hallelujah’s are the ones that anchor our souls. It’s a hallelujah in spite of what’s going on and it’s also a choice. It reminds me of the song, “Blessed by your name”. In the good and in the bad, blessed by Your name.
