Brothers and sisters,
There are days when life feels heavier than usual.
Not because something obvious has happened —
but because fear quietly settles in,
worries follow us into the night,
and we sense dangers we cannot always name.
Many of us are not seeking answers right now.
We are simply seeking covering.
This prayer is for those moments —
when the world feels uncertain,
when the heart feels exposed,
when the soul longs for safety beyond human control.
In prayer, we remember that Jesus Christ is our refuge.
He goes before us, stands beside us, and surrounds us — not only protecting us from physical harm, but also guarding our minds, hearts, homes, and souls from unseen battles.
This prayer gently places:

loved ones far away

the future we cannot control
into the faithful hands of the Lord.
