A Prayer for Peace in a Divided World

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is hard to ignore the weight our world is carrying right now.

There is unrest in cities.
Division in communities.
Fear in homes.
Uncertainty in nations.

Many of us scroll through headlines and feel overwhelmed. We see conflict, injustice, instability, and wonder what we can truly do.

One thing we can always do is pray.

This prayer lifts up:

  • families living in fear

  • communities experiencing tension

  • leaders making decisions that affect millions

  • regions facing active conflict

  • refugees seeking safety

  • young people navigating confusion

  • churches called to reflect Christ in a divided culture

It asks the Lord not just for temporary calm, but for true peace — the kind that begins in the human heart and spreads outward.

Scripture calls Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace, and this prayer surrenders the world into His hands — trusting that transformation begins with Him.

If your heart has been heavy for our world, I invite you to join this prayer:

If you feel led, share what region, situation, or burden you are praying for. Let’s stand together in intercession.

May peace begin in us and ripple outward into our homes, communities, and nations.
Amen.
