What are your thoughts? Should churches keep a strict dress code to honor their traditions or let the congregation wear what they feel most comfortable in?
When we go to Church in our Sunday Best, we don’t do it for looks. We don’t wear suits and button up shirts to impress God. We do this out of respect of God. More than changing dress code, he should focus on the way his church appeals to Gen Z from an event, entertainent, and evangelical standpoint.
My v iew is people should attend church in whatever they feel comfortable as long as its modest. The Lord looks at the heart, not outward appearance. I was saved back in the late 1970s and attended a very traditional AOG pentecostal church where everybody wore suits etc. However, the down side of this was off putting to new people as the area that the church was in was quite a deprived area. People living there could barely afford basic lving , let alone buying a suit. Come as you are is my message.
