Our church is doing a Trunk-or-Treat for Halloween, and I’m trying to find a simple costume idea that’s fun and appropriate. Please share any suggestions or past costumes of yours that have been a success!
The first few ideas that came to mind were:
Is there like a theme with the event or your trunk that your doing?
We’re kind of doing western theme for our trunk - lots of bandanas!
A western theme sounds like a lot of fun, and super easy to dress for too! You’ve already got a great list going. A few more simple ideas that could work with that vibe or are just easy wins:
Farmer – overalls, plaid shirt, and a straw hat
Campfire – brown clothes, red/orange tissue flames, and maybe a marshmallow on a stick
Scarecrow – flannel shirt, patched jeans, and face paint for stitching
Sunflower or cactus – green clothes and simple felt cutouts
Costumes don’t need to be complicated to be fun, especially when there are smiles and candy involved :).
