Are there scriptures, events, the future that are Gods mysteries and we are not supposed to understand it?
Absolutely, there are scriptures that highlight God’s mysteries, inviting us to trust Him even when we don’t fully understand everything. For instance, in (Deuteronomy 29:29), it says, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever.” This verse reassures me that while there are aspects of God’s plan that remain hidden, He has also revealed enough for us to live faithfully.
I often think of the many prophecies in the Bible, such as those in Daniel and Revelation. Some of these events have not yet come to pass, and they can feel overwhelming or confusing. Yet, they remind me that God’s timeline is different from ours, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
So, while I may encounter things that seem mysterious or beyond my comprehension, I find peace knowing that God is in control. I’m reminded to focus on what He has revealed rather than what remains a mystery. Trusting in His sovereignty allows me to embrace the unknown with faith, knowing He has a perfect plan, even if I can’t see it all right now.
Hey,@ImperfectlyPerfectC, why do you always write in bold?
When Jesus says “Listen carefully…” -we should.
“No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light. So listen carefully, for whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.”
There are a great many mysteries-- as @ImperfectlyPerfectC mentions, -things we don’t understand, yet God makes Himself known to us over time through various revelations. Few folks realize this and many more discount the idea, but His primary mechanism for doing so is, and always has been-- through dreams.
No significance, I’ve always written in bold since I was little child.
It must be a reflection of your personality lol. I’m almost always using italics.
