It’s one thing to believe Jesus died for our sins—it’s another to live like it.
We celebrate the forgiveness and healing found in the cross, but 1 Peter 2:24 reminds us that salvation has a direction: “that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.”

This video from Through the Front Wood echoes the powerful truth that Jesus bore our sins not just to cleanse us, but to commission us—into a life of purpose, healing, and holiness.
So how do we move from just knowing we’re saved to actually living like it?

What does living to righteousness look like for you in your daily life?
Are there habits, relationships, or fears that still need surrendering to fully embrace the life He offers?

“He took our death so we could live His life.”

Living a holy life looks like obedience to all the commands of the last parts of the New Testament’s letters (look at Ephesians 4-6, Colossians 3-4, Romans 12-16, Galatians 5-6, Hebrews 12-13), where we find God’s calls to live in the power of Jesus’ resurrection, for which we need to pray every day (see Colossians 3:1).
