Romans 12:9-10
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
This verse opens with a call that’s so needed right now: “Let love be sincere.”
Genuine love doesn’t pretend everything’s fine when it’s not. It calls out what’s evil and clings hard to what’s good. It’s truth with a backbone.
What do y’all think?

Today the verse found me instead of me finding it
.
Every now and then, a verse you weren’t even looking for just lands. For me this today it was Isaiah 41:10—I stumbled on it while reading something else, and it stopped me mid-scroll.
It reminded me that sometimes Scripture finds us exactly where we are.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:8, Verse of the Day from BibleStudyTools
The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
1 Peter 5:10, Verse of the Day from Christianity
Love these. Two I return to:
Psalm 16:8 — “I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
They’ve carried me through some tight spots.

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.”

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
