Bible verses about healing

What healing Bible verse has carried you through a hard season?

When we’re walking through illness, emotional pain, or uncertainty, it’s often Scripture that holds us steady. Verses like “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3) or “By His wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24) remind us that God’s healing reaches deeper than the body. It touches the soul.

What Bible verse about healing has helped you the most, and why? Whether it was during a personal illness, a family trial, or a time of discouragement, share the Scripture that reminded you of God’s faithfulness and power to restore. :palms_up_together:

Just a few of my favorites…

Heal me O Lord and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved for You are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in him and I am helped. Psalms 28:7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4, 6-7

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalms 103:1-5

Gina, thank you for sharing these. Psalm 103 has carried me through more valleys than I can count…especially that line, “who healeth all thy diseases.” It reminds me that God’s healing reaches beyond what we see and into what we most need. I’ve also held onto Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, I will help you.” Whether the healing comes now or in eternity, His presence is always our first and greatest comfort.

Exactly the way I see it too. Oh sometimes I get impatient, but God always calms me down and brings to remembrance Isaiah 55:8 - 9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
