After a second round of mammograms and an ultrasound, I am now scheduled for a biopsy for a closer look at three suspicious looking areas, including a swollen lymph node. The biopsy will take place on December 13th, with results given the following week. Of course, I am hoping for an “all clear” result, but in the meantime, I am having a lot of trouble “taking every thought captive”, and peace seems very elusive.

Wow, I storm the gates of heaven for ddowns56 today. Diagnosis are frightening, and it’s extremely difficult for us to steady our minds on You, God, when answers seem to be elusive. I pray for the biopsy this Friday, God. I pray for the technicians and the equipment, as well as the doctors and technicians who will care for ddowns56 and read the results. Father, pray for the tests to show that ddowns56 is healthy, and I pray for the results to come quickly. I pray for Your healing hand if needed, and Your wisdom and clarity. God, I pray for ddowns56’s thoughts and heart. Keep them stayed on You, God. The waiting is the worst, Father, but You are there through every single moment of it.
