A once excellent aircraft manufacturer is reeling from poor quality. I have decided to work my schedule so that I fly on airbus vehicles from now on.
What happened to quality?
Sadly, it isn’t just in the aircraft industry. People just don’t want to work anymore.
I think that is true at times, also true that people do the minimum required. True of some college students as well.
I have read that Boeing was bought out, poor quality parts were brought in, and workers were encouraged not to show concern for poor quality and turn out planes as quickly as possible. A bad combination of events. Sixty Minutes did a story on Boeing that hilighted these allegations.
