We’ve all heard the verse: “God works all things together for good.” But when the bottom drops out—when the job is lost, the diagnosis hits, or the prayers go unanswered—it can feel almost impossible to believe.
How do we reconcile God’s goodness with real-life suffering? Is it possible to trust His plan when everything in us wants to cry out, “Why?”
Sometimes the miracle is obvious… like a hospital visit that unexpectedly saves a life. But other times, the “good” promised in Romans 8:28 doesn’t show up in ways we can easily see. That’s where faith gets tested—when the outcome is still cloudy, the grief still fresh.
