Give these photos a fun caption: bonus points if it is Biblical.
I will post a new photo every few days or so. To “compete”, just reply to the post with the photo you are captioning. See who can rack up the most points (simply the caption for each caption you like the most to cast your vote) for each one. It is my hope to see some of the “Regulars” on this Forum paricipating in this challenge. Here we go…
*Don’t forget to both Caption & Vote. Votes can be changed by selecting and making it turn back to , then simply just re-vote with another .
All of the photos I select to use here will be from the Library of Congress’ extensive collection. Please observe copyright laws if you wish to re-use these images.
Spoonerism is a famous mistake where the first letters (or sounds) of two words are interchanged, like The Lord is a shoving leopard, instead of saying The Lord is a loving shepherd. There are oodles of famous spoonerisms.
Thank you for the @Bestill, would you care to try your hand at giving some of the photos a funny caption of your own making?
Caption The Photo Challenge invites users in the Humor & Games category to caption a series of photos, aiming for creativity and earning bonus points for Biblical references.
This is an open invitation to everyone:
You don’t have to post a caption on just the latest photo. Simply put which photo you are captioning, along with your funny caption after it. So why wait? Post your own captions today.
