Thank you for sharing this! It’s so easy to forget living in America that, for so many of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, claiming to follow Jesus has very real consequences for their livelihood, friendships, and the safety of their very lives. Grateful for the ability to freely attend church, pray, and read the Bible, and praying for those around the world who still choose Jesus even when it means persecution.
She beat me to it. I was thinking the same. We have so much freedom here we take it for granted. You read sotories like a whole family geting 20 years of hard labor for having a Bible study in their home in China. Of mass torture and killing all around the world. We should always keep our brothers and sisters in prayer. We could be next.
