Normally celeb deaths have little influence on me but Chuck was a brother in Christ and the first celebrity I can recall coming out as Christian in the 80’s

Yes indeed. I just watched “Good Guys Wear Black” two weeks agao. Truly say for us, but great for him. I wonder if he is teaching Jacob how to fight better?

How many here are aware Chuck was a Christian?

Amen. A really lovely sense of manhood in Hollywood not being changed by it. But actually contributed to it by virtue of his real heart persona. And in his later years, entertained us with his commercials on youtube. Like a member of the family you can’t get rid of. Nor, want to. Blessings.

I kind of knew. But there are claims people make as we know that don’t mean the same thing as how we would understand a Christian to be. I think some Christians are more private about their faith and may share Christ with people in their personal circle rather than using their celebrity. Although he did reportedly share his faith openly in public throughout his life. I guess I have always sensed something about Chuck that seemed a lot more gathered of a person than the a-typical Hollywood type. But to be honest, I was not aware for sure he was a believer.

Christianity Today started an article with how I believe much of the US and world might have had him in their minds — Even Chuck Norris’s granddaughter bought into the memes that described her Papa as indestructible. He was, as she wrote recently, the man who “counted to infinity twice, the man who got bit by a cobra and the cobra died.” Chuck Norris didn’t do pushups, she added; he “would push the earth down.”
