when i lived in the free world I spent 90% of my working life in nature. 9 years on the ocean i never grew tired of the wonder of the sea. i miss Gods world so much. in this prison you see only concrete and steel.
That sounds very hard….. I’m praying you get small glimpses of God’s beauty even there—memory, Scripture, a quiet moment. Psalm 19:1 and Psalm 104 always re-center me when I can’t get outside.
when you pray, do you ever “go back” in your mind to the sea? is there a verse or line you repeat that helps? I’ll be asking the Lord to meet you with that same peace you felt on the water.
