Anne age 86 gave me her dog. She told the police I stole the dog. I have documentation she asked me to adopt him. I was texting with the detective earlier today and will do so again tomorrow. I hope the police believe my side of the story so the issue is dropped. I’m thinking we need to move. I’m not going to give up the dog unless I’m forced to. Prayers for a miracle are needed to have this work out for me.

If you have documentation, you should be fine. Show that to the police. If it is legit, then she decides to file a civil case against you, she wouldn’t win at that either. why do you have to move?
