I do. It helps me remember, and I have a reference point to refer to if needed.
If something strikes me, I do. I use my phone & Bible. com during church & use the Note option. Today I entered 3 notes.
I take notes and then we use them for writing the description for the video.
My Bible looks like a text book you’d never get a penny for at the end of the semester.
Yes, I enjoy taking notes during sermons, and I find it incredibly beneficial. It helps me engage more deeply with the message and shows respect for the speaker’s preparation.
(Proverbs 18:15) says, “The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge,” and note-talking allows me to actively seek that knowledge.
I also appreciate being able to review my notes later. (Psalm 119:11) reminds me “I have hidden your word in my heart,” and writing down key points helps me reflect on and apply the principles throughout the week.
I would, but my writing speed is very, very, very slow, and I’m not a multi-tasker. I can split my attn 95-5, 80-20, sometimes I can do it 75-25 (I’ve only done that once). Besides, I can never figure out exactly how to write it down. I can think of like 10 different ways to say the same thing, and how many different ways I can combine the 10 ways together. It’s just how I’m wired.
Ha! Mine, too. I finally switched from margins to a note book
