Does God Hear Prayers That Aren't in Line with His Will?

Does God Hear Prayers That Aren’t in Line with His Will?

We know from 1 John 5:14 that “if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” This verse clearly emphasizes the importance of aligning our prayers with God’s will. But what about prayers that don’t align with His will? Does God still hear them?

Some might argue that God, being omniscient and all-loving, hears all prayers, even if they don’t align with His will. After all, He knows our thoughts and the desires of our hearts. Others believe that while God may “hear” these prayers, He may not answer them in the way we hope, as they may not be beneficial or part of His greater plan.

What do you think? Have you ever prayed for something that you later realized wasn’t in line with God’s will? How did He respond? Does God even pay attention to prayers that are not aligned with His will?

Of course he HEARS them. RESPONDING is another matter.

God doesn’t listen to the prayers of the wicked.

Proverbs, prayers of the wicked are Abomination to God.

Psalm chapter 50
Gather my saints together unto me, those who made covenant with me by sacrifice.

It’s those who do will of God. Our love, worship, and obedience is all we can give.

50:16
But unto the wicked God says, what has thou to do to declare my statues, or that thou should take my covenant in thy mouth ??

Some people rather listen to false brethren, and committ idol worship. Its lip service.

50:17
Seeing thou hate instructions and cast my words behind thee.

In this generation, some people have turned thier backs on God. Won’t repent and follow after false shepherd’s.
I’m not knocking churches down. There are some good ones Left. Point is, its social functions, or building projects. Instead of God’s word being taught.
Many shepherd’s teach tradition of men and false doctrine. God hates false shepherd’s, and isn’t happy with those who are complicit as congregations.
Get the picture.

Palsm chapter 50

God isn’t happy with false brethren.

Those who teach sound doctrine and repent, God loves.

God knows everyone heart, and mind, there inner motives.

Can’t con Jesus.

God can be our protection or our judge.

Peace.

I didn’t misunderstood the topic.

I don’t think you like me.

I documented what I said . God doesn’t listen to the wicked.

You don’t like me, and that’s fine with me.

Enjoying your persecution complex?

This discussion is not about prayers from the unsaved.

This has nothing to do with being liked. The answer you gave does not fit my opening post.

Yes God hears our prayers that are in line with His will. The thing is, patience and faith is what brings His promises to pass. We all have faith, but its the patience thing that gets us.

In as much as we want God to sometimes hear prayers that may not be in line with His Will.

However, you gotta notice that prayers that are outside the Will of God are not whispers from the Spirit of God.

So yes, God may very well hear such prayers but, responding to them is in doubt.
For God is a Faithful God.
