Does God Know You Better Than You Know Yourself?
As Christians reflect on what it means to be fully known by God, we invite your voice in Crosswalk Forums.

There’s comfort—and conviction—in the truth that God knows us better than we know ourselves. He sees past the masks we wear, the fears we hide, and even the questions we don’t dare to voice. In Psalm 139, we’re reminded that He searches us, understands us, and is intimately familiar with all our ways.
Sometimes we misunderstand our own hearts, our own motives—but God doesn’t. That can be scary at first, but for the believer, it’s freeing. He knows every weakness and still chooses to love us deeply. That kind of knowledge isn’t invasive—it’s healing.
How does it impact your relationship with God to know He understands your heart better than you do?
Has there been a time when God’s deeper knowledge of you brought peace or course correction?
