I’ve been curious about what worship sounded like in the early church. We tend to picture hymns with piano or organ, but obviously that came much later. Does anyone here know what instruments would have been used in the first few centuries? Or if singing was mostly a cappella? If anyone has a resource about early worship practices, I’d enjoy reading it.
