Hi I am keen to know the current events happening in the world today relating to the prophecies mentioned in the Bible. I am reading the Book of Revelations now.

“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction…”
– 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NASB

Here Paul explains that the day of the Lord had not yet come and that it would not come until some things happened first. One of those events preceding the day of the Lord would be revealing of the man of lawlessness.
There are lots of false teaching. Can someone suggest any Christian pastor who talks on end times.

He’s talking to students so the language is thoughtful and an easy listen. The only problem is that something was lost when he gets to the 7 churches, so you will notice it missing. Can’t be helped. Still quite good.

Jesus taught that he would come again and that we should be faithful in living for him daily untill he comes.

That is all we need to know.

Preterism makes better sense.

Get the time frame right, and the whole New Testament pops into vivid focus and makes sense. Get the time frame wrong, and you might well spiral into immediate irrelevance, and a much lower quality of life. Life is GREAT! God’s plans are AMAZING! Let’s go move some mountains for His glory!

The state-of-the-art best eschatology, postmillennialism, usually includes some form of preterism. Most of the prophecies in the Olivet Discourse, and John’s more detailed retelling of that discourse in prophetic (visual, right-brain) imagery, refers to the Jewish War, which lasted 7 years, started on schedule 40 years after Jesus pronounced God’s pending judgment upon “this generation,” and kicked the feet out from under the Kingdom of God’s two chief enemies – Rome, and apostate Israel.

Get the time frame right, and you can even explain Apocalypse to Turkish Muslims in a way that makes sense.

@Dr_S Posted something similar to this in the past. I do not believe he ever gave a direct answer as to whether he believes that the world will simply continue forever. His claim then, as I understood it, was that Revelations simply described something that already happened and not a future event, even though most feel this is not Biblical at all.

Am I correct @Dr_S ?

thats all i care about anymore. been tons of sensationalism surrounding end times especially since 2020. i wasted a lot of time just watching and waiting, feeling the end was near, only to be 5 years older and with new bad habits that i now need to change.

With all sane, right thinking orthodox (small o) saints, I anticipate “He shall return in glory to raise the quick and the dead,” at the end of history. “I believe in the resurrection of the dead, and life everlasting, Amen.”

Between now and then, the vector of God’s work with, through, for, and in us is the continuing defeat of evil, one snarling retreating footstep at a time. Finally, only ONE enemy will remain, death. Then Jesus will return to end death as well.

We have a long ways to go, with many a foe, before we get there, though.

MEANWHILE, a healthy / sane / sober eschatology gives us the glad assurance that our labors now are not in vain, but will, step by step, make things better for people hundreds of years from now. As the old psalter paraphrases Psalm 112, “His children shall be mighty men, upon the earth renowned. The habitation of the just in blessings shall abound.”

Imagine a Kingdom of God too big to fit into one’s own navel. Too big for one’s own heart. A Gospel that explodes out to include one’s family, one’s church, one’s county, in God’s ongoing purposes.

I used to listen to Dr. Jack Van Impe prior to his passing several years ago. Chuck Missler was another who has since passed. I stopped looking to end times preachers because Jesus told us that NO ONE, except the Father knows when the times end for this world. I just try to remain faithful in these times.

I agree with you. I’m glad you appear to believe in the Truth according to God. I’m not saying it {The End} is coming today, or even soon. You cannot make the statement that we still have hundreds of years for the same reason.

“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36

We merely need to occupy until He comes.

I know that all the doctrinally brainwashed losers will disagree but here is where we are at..1 Thessalonians 4:16 happened May 10 & 11 of 2019. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is ongoing Judgement is happening now. Billions are already crossed out of the Book of Life. The 144,000 were Sealed April 12th Passover through May 12th 2nd Passover 2025. They went to work September 8th. They are the new church leadership that will expose and replace the filth. The Five months in the beginning of Revelation 9 was from July 29th to December 29th when the Sun went on Sagittarius’ head.. The men without the Seal of God are the rapture date setters - seeking death for date to date but death flees from them. They have until the end of January to repent. Revelation 18:2 happened October 31st. All those that John saw Sealed with the 144k completed November 10th. The 1st bowl of God’s Wrath poured out November 11th. Their sores/ sins do appear - God’s forbearance has ended and their is no more ignoring sin - it is now visible, people are turned over to it, and it will consume them. You can most visibly see it happening with the false shepherds taking filthy lucre from Israel to preach Israel instead of the gospel - all crossed out instantly.

What people think of as the rapture happened October 25. The door of the “Ark” closed. Those who obeyed God’s call in Rev 18:4 are all safely tucked away through all things. Divinely protected throughout the remainer of the time of this age, kept from the hour of temptation. The “flood” started October 30th, that being the thing/ things that consume people. The best example is the filthy pastors that took Israeli money. They have always walked a line between service to God and self. They got their final test, be loyal to God and shepherding the flock or go after greed and self glorification. The were crossed out of the Book of Life the moment they made the decision, they didn’t even have to take the money. The first and most minor plague was the baby formula debacle, it checked the heart posture of many and many failed.

With the 144,000 Sealed the time of the Two Witnesses has started. Tribulation is not for the world. It’s for the church. For those that profess Jesus with their mouth but don’t really believe and aren’t saved - most Christians. Tribulation is for their hoped for refinement and purification. Everything standing between them and God will be stripped away, health, wealth, jobs, titles, family, whatever it is until they truly come to God. Or they will be burned up as chaff. Tribulation is the threshing room floor. The tares are already judged. It’s just what and chaff now. But the wheat gets ground too.

The 144k will lead the body of Christ back into Truth and right standing with God so that the Bride is Spotless. God’s primary message for the church is there WILL BE unity in the sufficientcy of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Everyone will lay down their doctrinal differences and unite in that or they will be cast out. We are the last generation. We don’t get until the end of our life to get it right.

I could go on for a long time but have other stuff to do. Just remember this - when you find yourself in the storm - cry out to Jesus and keep crying out to Him. He is the only one that can calm the storm and pull you out of the waters. God bless.

From where I stand is…

You are not practicing Preterism, you are practicing prophetic absolutism, where you alone possess the timeline, the seals, the judgments, and the authority to expel others, and that posture mirrors the very false certainty the apostles cautioned against, because true eschatology magnifies Christ crucified and risen, not the interpreter enthroned as judge.

If you believe your claims are from God, submit them to the text in its language, its grammar, its audience, and its historical setting, because the Word of God tests the prophet, the prophet never tests the Word.

Matthew 24:15 happened January 20th 2025. And 24:16 the moment that AC was sworn in - Israel invaded the West Bank/ Judea and started indiscriminately unaliving Christians. Trump went in their temple - let he who understands understand - under the apotheosis of George Washington, man becoming God. Revelation 9:11 Apollyon - Trump is all about Apollo. He ended their daily sacrifice, child sacrifice, by appointing supreme court justices that overturned Roe V Wade and then signed an EO ending funding for PP after his 3nd swearing in. He also entered the real temple of God with the jab, ending the physical lives of many before God by altering their DNA.

Then he showed himself as a giant golden statue, and as the pope in golden garb holding up the #1 finger, showed himself in the mirror with a giant head, sat in St. Peter’s boarding around world leaders showing himself as “God”. He denies Jesus by deny that he needs to repent. He says he can’t go to heaven. And just the other day said no one has power to stop him from taking Greenland, denying God’s sovereignty. I could go on all day with proofs but the blind will never see.

You are looking for all of this physical destruction because of trash eschatology, not seeing the destruction of souls taking place around you. Not perceiving that judgement is happening now and much of that judgement being set up by the prosecutor, Trump indwelt by Satan.

The SNAP crisis was a judgement that many failed. Where did you stand? If they don’t work they don’t eat? Or - what you do for the least of these you do for me?

The baby formula debacle was the first plague. It exposed many churches and many hearts.

You fail to perceive so much - the three spirits - pastors taking Jew money (beast) - the beast spirit - false rapture doctrine exposed by 2025 passing - false prophet spirit - it finally starting to become obvious to many that Trump is the AC indwelt by Satan (dragon) and the tiny hat antichrists the beast - the beast spirit - three unclean spirits…

Wouldn’t it be really weird if I was actually an Apostle baptized by Jesus Christ Himself when He laid His right hand on my shoulder?

What would be even more weird is if I was the Elijah of our time.

And weirder still, if the pit in Revelation 9 was not hell but the well of the mysteries of God of unfathomable depth.

And it would be even weirder still if I was the angel that was given the key to access those mysteries.

But weirdest of all would be having the receipts to all of that, that anyone can see and confirm for themselves.

Take the time or don’t. It is just like before. Everyone goes to church/ synagogue, reads their Bible/ Torah, has their teachings and understandings. And they were all wrong. Two people knew, Simeon and Anna. Everyone else missed it. Even after being told, even after the crucification and resurrection, and after the road to Emmaus, even after Jesus spending time with them and ascending to heaven, even after Pentecost; they still didn’t get it. Only after Paul spent time with Jesus and he explained things to them did they start to understand.

And today, people still fight endlessly about that despite Paul saying only Jesus matters. That he came to teach Christ crucified and didn’t want to hear any of their bs doctrinal disputes.

It’s the same today. I give endless messages from God with proof that people can confirm for themselves and they are ignored. And they are mainly ignored because of being stuck in doctrinal B’s and pride and ego. People worshipping doctrine and themselves rather than our Father through His Son.

And, just so you understand, today God said He is starting to turn them over to Satan for destruction.

Every person that supports antichrists is an antichrist. Jesus told you that you must leave anyone and everyone that rejects Him. Mother, father, brother, sister, children, whoever. He didn’t carve out a special exception for the world’s most vehement antichrists; He didn’t carve out an exception for the beast in tiny hats.

Again, all who support antichrists are antichrists and WILL hear - be gone from Me, I never knew you.

If you care about them preach the gospel to them. Do not aid them in their unbelief. The entire Israel supporting, rapture crowd are dooming themselves. They are building their own stairway to heaven in the bodies of those they condemn to hell. Happy to support Hews in their unbelief and not preach the gospel to them; letting them go to hell. Happy to escape the world when the harvest is ripe and the workers few; zero concern for all of the lost souls that could be reached.

Of the many that will hear those dreaded Words - I never knew you- the antichrist supporting rapture crowd will be the majority. Remember, these people said they believed and performed miracles in Jesus’ name. They were all under some kind of deception. Wake up before it’s too late for you.

i would agree with you 100%. No need for name calling, we are a community a brother/sister hood. We are here to learn and teach, to uplift each other not put each other down. Be respectful to all and enjoy your time here. I am willing to read what you have to say but not when you start off by calling other members names. And you have an edit button so i wouldnt mind seeing you even edit that part out. Just a friendly suggestion. @anon47333403
