Evil One's Plan for Humanity

What the evil one is up to with us humans? I have brought this threat up because it concerns all of us.

In the holy scriptures it says he wants to kill, steal, and destroy us. His constantly tempts us into sin, create division, and lead us away from God’s purpose. His ultimate goal is to separate us from Christ’s love and salvation. However, through faith, prayer, and vigilance, we can resist his schemes and remain steadfast under God’s protection. Paul told us to put on God’s

world willingly “follows the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience”

At his most successful, his subjects ((( YOU ))) you march obliviously to destruction, and take as many with them as they can.

through faith, prayer, and God’s Word, noting that he is a defeated

KJV John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

2 Corinthians 2:11)That we would be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

.“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” The concept of the “armor of God” is a biblical metaphor found in

Ephesians 6:10-18, where the Apostle Paul encourages believers to use spiritual tools to stand against spiritual evil. It is not a physical armor, but a representation of the virtues and resources God provides through Jesus Christ for the spiritual battle of life

Satan’s hateful actions

Deception and lies: Satan uses lies to deceive people and lead them to destruction, as seen in John 8:44, where he is called “the father of lies”.

Accusation: He accuses believers before God, even when they are living righteously, as described in Job 1:1, 8-11.

Temptation: He tempts people to use their own nature and God’s good gifts in harmful ways, leading to sin.

Inciting hostility: He works to create hostility and mistrust between humans and God, and between people themselves.

Stealing, killing, and destroying: His ultimate goal is stated in John 10:10 as to “steal and kill and destroy”.

Devouring: He is described as “prowling around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour,” as stated in 1 Peter 5:8.

The spiritual battle

Spiritual adversary: The Bible refers to Satan as an adversary who works against God’s plan and people.'s accusations and impurity.

The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace: The Roman soldier’s sandals had hobnails for firm footing. Spiritually, these represent

“Lawlessness” and deceit: The “lawless one” will use deception, signs, and wonders to mislead those who refuse the truth, as described in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

Overcoming the enemy: The Bible encourages believers to resist Satan’s schemes gnorant of his designs.

The pieces of the full armor of God are:

The Belt of Truth: This signifies grounding oneself in the truth of God’s Word and character, which holds all other pieces together and helps protect against the devil’s lies and deception.

  • The Breastplate of Righteousness: This protects the heart and vital organs (emotions, will, intellect). It represents both the righteousness granted by Christ’s sacrifice (justification) and a commitment to righteous living (holiness), which guards against the enemy t the stability and readiness that comes from having peace with God through the Gospel, enabling believers to stand firm and share the message without being easily shaken by anxiety or difficult circumstances.
  • The Shield of Faith: This large, door-shaped shield is used to extinguish all of the “flaming arrows” (doubts, temptations, accusations, fears) of the evil one. Faith is an active trust in God’s promises and goodness, which provides comprehensive protection.
  • The Helmet of Salvation: The helmet protects the head, the seat of the mind and thoughts. This piece signifies the assurance of salvation and hope in Christ, which protects the mind from doubt, despair, and the enemy’s attempts to infiltrate thoughts and identity.
  • The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: This is the only offensive weapon in the armor. It is the spoken Word of God, used to actively fight against evil, just as Jesus did when tempted in the wilderness.

Additionally, the passage concludes with an emphasis on prayer in the Spirit on all occasions, which is the means by which believers draw spiritual strength from God and activate the entire armor.

By putting on this spiritual armor daily through intentional choices, prayer, and living according to God’s Word, Christians can stand strong and be prepared for spiritual battles.

That we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs. (2 Corinthians 2:11)

He is our “adversary [who] prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone t devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Yet, in the most appalling and unwitting bondage.

KJV John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

.“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

I’ve watched a few videos of an ex-Satanist being interviewed by a Christian host. He was once the head of the Satanist church in South Africa. He didn’t believe there was a God nor did he believe in Jesus, but after having an encounter with Jesus, he decided that the only choice was to follow Him. He left the Satanist church under much pressure and threats and now he ministers to those in bondage who want out. It was very interesting.

The man knows his Bible. He’s given up everything he owns to follow Jesus. His ministry includes deliverance for those who are tied to the Satanic church. People in that church believe they have sold their soul to the devil and there’s no turning back. He says that’s a lie and that all souls belong to God. Not that all souls have eternal life, but that all souls belong to God.

“Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

That was a new thought for me. I never thought of it that way. It makes sense though because only God is the giver of life.

You’re absolutely right to “sound the alarm.” The enemy’s tactics are as old as Eden…deception, division, and destruction….but praise God, he is already defeated through Christ. As you reminded us, we are called to stay sober, vigilant, and armed with truth (Ephesians 6).

Concerned about the influence of the devil?

Please look at the link, note its title “ The Abysmal state of Theology!”

This is the theological knowledge not of theologians but of the ordinary Christian.

So follow it and checkout are you as ignorant as those who completed this servey?

Why bring this up?

Simple, it is the Christian living for Jesus day by day who is influencing our world.

If he is ignorant of what a Christian is, how can he have any influence.

Share it with your pastor to see if it will affect how he preaches.

We are told that we are not unaware of Satan’s devices. Here is an interesting link to a web based booklet called, “The Satanic History of the World;

Scripture leaves no doubt about Satan’s agenda. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” ~John 10:10. Destroying lives is his livelihood.

However, Scripture is equally clear about Satan’s restrictions. Satan is active, not sovereign. He is already judged. Jesus said, “Now shall the prince of this world be cast out” ~John 12:31. The cross settled the outcome.

Therefore Paul instructs believers to stand firm, not faint. “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” ~Ephesians 6:11. The armor allows us to stand grounded in truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and God’s Word.

We remain watchful ~1 Peter 5: 8 but keep our eyes on Christ, not our enemy. Satan will try to destroy us, but Christ gives life, and life abundantly ~John 10:10.
