I’m brainstorming what to carve on my pumpkin this year. I’ve done a cross, bible verses, and the greek fish symbol but trying to carve something a bit more intricate this year. Any ideas?
How fun! A few ideas that keep it faith-based:
-
A crown of thorns around the top of the pumpkin
-
A lion’s face (for the Lion of Judah)
-
A dove with an olive branch
Whatever you choose, it’s a great way to shine some light in the fall season!
I love this! Also a great idea to add to this list of Halloween Alternatives.
A few ideas that came to mind:
- Star of Bethlehem
- A shepherd and sheep
- Prayer hands
- A church with steeple
- Loaves and fish
If anyone has any pictures of these after pumpkin carving, please share!! ![]()
my vote is for the prayer hands
and ditto with the pic
Just bought pumpkins last night. Going to see which ideas my kids like best!
I don’t have much but you could carve the three crosses with a rising sun in the background. Sorry it’s not a good sketch. With the lighter orange just engrave it but don’t cut it through completely. The more solid colors you can leave you don’t cut. (The Orange and Yellow)
OOoooo I like it!!! Good idea!
Your welcome, sorry my sketch isn’t the most detailed ![]()
hope you get some good ideas
you could carve a cross and d candles
