My favorite Bible verse is _______.
The Bible is filled with verses that speak to us in different ways at different times in our lives. Whether it’s a verse that provides comfort, inspires you to keep going, or challenges you to grow in your faith, we all have those go-to scriptures that hold a special place in our hearts.
What’s your favorite Bible verse, and why does it mean so much to you? Has it guided you through a tough season, or does it bring you peace and joy in your daily walk with God?
Let’s share the verses that have made a difference in our lives. Whether it’s an old favorite or one you’ve recently discovered, your favorite verse might be just what someone else needs to hear today.
I share a daily Bible verse and thought on social media and one of my own favorite is this one:
Zephaniah 3:17
“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

My favorite verse is 5 Psalm 103:1-5
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
It’s my favorite passage because it’s like a beautiful reminder of just how much God loves and cares for us. God forgives our mistakes, heals our wounds, and lifts us up from tough times. His love is endless. Whenever I read these verses, it fills me with gratitude and helps me remember to lean on God’s goodness, no matter what’s going on in life.

Matthew 6:25-34.
Back in 1999-2000 my husband & I were homeless and had just left the church that badly burned us. We were living in the basement of a private homeless organization (LONG story) & found a new church and the pastor gave me a Bible In One Year plan. I’d always wanted to read the Bible cover-to-cover! Every morning I would follow the plan for that day. The day I read Matthew 6:25-34 I was in our basement/room, curled up in an old abandoned recliner. As I was reading these words I felt like He was saying the words directly to me, and felt big, strong arms around me. (For the record, my husband was across the room in front of me & no one else was down there.) I will never forget that feeling.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse has meant so much to me, especially during difficult seasons. There were times when I felt completely overwhelmed, unsure if I could handle everything going on in my life, but this verse always reminded me that I don’t have to do it alone. It’s like a little whisper of encouragement that no matter the challenge, I have the strength to push through. I’ve also shared this verse with friends who were struggling, and it always seems to bring them peace, too. It’s amazing how Bible verses can speak to you in such a personal way.

One of my favorite Bible verses is (Acts 2:26) (ESV), which says, “Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope.” This verse resonates deeply with me because it captures the essence of joy and hope that comes from trusting in the Lord.
During times of uncertainty and struggle, I have found peace in knowing that God is always with me, filling my heart with gladness, even in the midst of turmoil. It reminds me to focus on His goodness and to rejoice in His promises, which brings a sense of calm and strength to my daily walk with Him. Each day, I carry this verse in my heart, allowing it to guide me towards a life filled with hope and joy.
