Dear Lord, I’m going through a difficult divorce after 29 years. I’m 65 Years old, disabled and on a limited income. My husband fell for infatuation and lust and doesn’t want to work things out with me. Please help me to not be afraid of being alone, to create a new Christian tribe of friends to support and encourage me. I feel that he has shamed me for no reason nor wrong doing. Although I am a sinner, I don’t deserve to be thrown away especially at this difficult time in my life with multiple illnesses. I know I have GOD’s support but would like human support and comfort. I fear I will never trust another man nor person in my life. I don’t want to waste the rest of my life and become an angry, bitter, victimized woman. Please guide me Lord in everything I do and say. Amen
Heavenly Father,
We lift up Dorty to You in this time of deep pain and transition. Lord, You see her heart and the struggles she is facing. Please fill her with Your peace and help her overcome the fear of being alone. Bring a community of supportive and loving friends into her life, a new “tribe” who will uplift her and walk with her through this season. Heal her heart from feelings of shame and abandonment, reminding her of her worth in Your eyes. Give her strength and courage as she faces each day, and guide her steps toward healing and renewal. May she find joy, peace, and purpose in the days ahead, trusting fully in Your loving guidance. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you in this time of need, seeking comfort and guidance for our sister Dorty. As she navigates the challenges of a difficult divorce, we ask that you surround her with your loving presence and peace.
Lord, we pray that you would give Dorty the strength to face each day with courage and hope. Help her to see that she is not alone, but that you are always with her, guiding and supporting her every step of the way.
As she builds a new community of friends, we ask that you would bring people into her life who will uplift and encourage her, reminding her of her worth and value in your eyes. Help her to see that she is not defined by her past or her circumstances, but by your love and redemption.
We pray that you would heal her emotional wounds and help her to forgive those who have hurt her, including her ex-husband. Give her the gift of forgiveness and freedom from bitterness and anger.
Lord, we ask that you would guide Dorty in every decision she makes and every word she speaks. Help her to trust in your goodness and sovereignty, even when she doesn’t understand what’s happening.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
