I recently lost my car due to no fault of my own. Another driver hit my parked car. He had no license, no insurance, and I got nothing from it. That vehicle was my only reliable piece of transportation to be able to support my family, go to work, go to my therapy appointments and doctors appointments. I have been struggling and really spiraling since this occurred. I am also an autistic woman (late diagnosed) and this event has caused me so much distress, anxiety, fear, and terror because my vehicle helped me maintain my routine and it was my means to “get away.” I don’t really know what I am asking you guys to pray for, if you could just pray what the Lord puts in your hearts to pray for me, that would help me so much. Lord God,
You see this loss and how deeply it has shaken their sense of safety, routine, and peace. Please steady their heart where anxiety and fear have taken hold, and meet them in this distress with Your nearness. Provide what is needed day by day, practical help, reliable support, and a clear path forward. Give rest where feeling overwhelmed, and remind us that You are our refuge when everything familiar feels gone. Amen.
