I’m asking for prayer for deep financial troubles. I’m in over my head, having a hard time trying to make ends meet. Have to finagle things around, and still don’t have enough to make it work. I don’t know how I let myself get this way. I’m usually very careful. I’m asking for God’s will be done to help me get through this. I thank you very much for your prayers, and Gods bless you.

Now that is a prayer we do not see often. However, it is of extreme importance. We do not know. But God does. He knows what is best for us. In a situation like this, we are quick to pray with ready-made answers. “God, I need a raise.” “God, I need a new Job.” “God, please allow a check to fall in my lap.” Whatever it is. Yet God knows.
“Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:26-28
Pray that prayer, and Trust in God.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:33-34
Father, you know Walter’s situation. I know you are in his past, present, and future. What we do not know, you know all too well. Please be with him in his situation. As he prayed, I will join him in praying, may your will be done in his life. Please be with him, protect him, and guide him, now and always, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
