My eldest son and his family need the Lord. He works long hours, once was a follower of God but the love of money has taken His place along with wounds from other believers. His wife is a hurting person who is anxious and has trust issues from past wounds, She puts barriers up to protect herself. My 3 grandchildren have never had the opportunity to meet God.
Pray also that my husband and I have more opportunities to see them also as due to health issues we can’t drive
the distance to their community anymore.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up Anne’s son, his family, and her desire for their hearts to turn back to You. Lord, You know the challenges and wounds they carry, and we ask that You begin a healing work in their lives. Soften her son’s heart to Your love once again, releasing him from the distractions of worldly pursuits, and let him rediscover his faith in You. Touch his wife with Your peace and comfort, breaking down any barriers that keep her from fully trusting. Open the hearts of their children to Your love and give them the opportunity to know You.
We also pray for Anne and her husband, that You would provide more opportunities for them to see their family despite the distance and health limitations. Strengthen them, grant them peace, and allow their love and faith to shine brightly, drawing their family closer to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
