supposedly, there is a way to archive a "channel" so it appears as a topic in the forums

It probably has a bunch of options that are troublesome to figure out

like setting up private rooms and such

that's actually not very difficult

all of it is simple… it's just a matter of knowing how to do it

In my experience you'll find that only a handful of members will enter in, but those who do, will be frequent flyers

yeah, back in the day our chat was very robust

I've done hundreds of chat events with special guests

oh-- that would be difficult to manage

yeah, this chat isn't currently set up to do an event

we'd have to do a forums event of some sort

I do find the chat rooms to be good places to make personal connections in a more informal manner than forum threads

I recently took a typing speed test. It's 28wpm with 96% accuracy. I know, I'm a homeschooler and my typing should be better than that, I know. It's so embarrassing lol.
