Has anyone here been to Germany? What is it like? I’m going there this year and I mainly hear bad things from people about how atheist, liberal, and Muslim filled it is. What is it actually like for Christians?
If it is bad for Christians, it makes me wonder why is paradise always poisoned? California, Germany and France are all lovely but very ungodly. Why is this? And does God still have a plan for those countries, or is He done for them and mostly focused on America.
It would help if you said why and where in Germany you are going.
May I suggest that you use the Christianity explored web site search function to find a Christian church in what ever town you are going to and the internet to explore that town and its area for attractions etc.
What is Germany like?
Generally they are a polite, law abiding, hard working people and while they have a high level of english speaking it will help you if you spend time learning basic German.
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account." Matthew 5:11
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." John 15:18-19
This is why we are told,
“You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4
This is why Jesus called us the light of this world. We are to bring the Gospel with us wherever we go.

I’ve been to Germany, but it was so long ago I don’t know if anything I might say would be relevant. It was before the Euro. My main memory was taking a bus from Munich to visit Dachau concentration camp. I won’t spoil it for you, but if you have the opportunity, you should visit there.
I was on a train from Vienna to Budapest once. There was a Viennese and two Chinese in the compartment. The conductor came in to check our tickets. He was mad about something and slamming things. When he left one of the Chinese guys said, “He must be German”. I thought that the Viennese guy would fall out his seat laughing.
I was stationed in Germany almost 60 years ago. The college educated Germans can be pretty intense in their political orientation. Working class Germans and rural Germans tend to be less uptight.
What little Christian influence might be seen around US military bases.
