Greetings from Philadelphia

Hi everyone, my name is Mark. I guess you could say I am/was a luke warm christian who is here working, praying to having a closer walk and relationship with our Lord. I appreciate the invite to be here and look forward to further discussion with others who love the Lord. Thanks again.

Hi Mark! Welcome to the family - a heavenly, everlasting family!
I used to be lukewarm for quite a while, as well, and then after being around some faithful Christians who are “ALL-IN” with their faith and walk with Christ, I totally despised my old ways (like the Bible says: we should love the person but hate the “sins”), and was able to (slowly) LEARN to trust my Lord and God (and my Rock and my Shelter) to let HIM make decisions in my life, so that I can keep a healthy and blessed relationship with Him, instead of being rebellious like I was (or like the other rebellious people in the Old Testament).
IN FACT, He has made it pretty CLEAR (in the Holy Bible) how He would like us to live and to treat others, and HOW to be a beloved “son” or “daughter” of His by living out our faith (not just thinking/reading or thinking that we believe). [Luke 6:43-49, Luke 7 to 12, Luke 13, Matthew 5 to 25), Our faith has to be tested AND be put through trials and hardships to be “revealed”, and to be stronger – just like how gold and silver is made pure and better. (1 Peter, 1 Corinthians 3)
We have to keep a very VERY close relationship with HIM (including reading His Word daily or almost daily, and communicate with Him in prayer constantly ) in order to learn from our lessons and to know His Perfect Love and Will for us, so we can also receive all the blessings that comes alongside of His Perfect Will being done in our lives.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
the Lord makes His face shine upon you,
and be gracious to you,
the Lord lifts up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
(Num 6: 24-26)

God bless you and yours richly, abundantly, above and beyond what we can think or ask! (Ephesians, including Eph 2:10)

Your sister in Christ.
