Yes. I believe it to be a scam. According to the publishers and promoters of the text, the Kolbrin is divided into two distinct halves: The Egyptian Texts (Books 1–6), allegedly written by Egyptian scholars and scribes shortly after the Exodus of Israel. The text claims Phoenician traders transported these writings to ancient Britain around the 1st century BCE. Also the Celtic Texts (Books 7–11): Allegedly written by early Druid and Celtic scholars.
The story goes that the original manuscripts were preserved at Glastonbury Abbey in England. When the Abbey burned in 1184 CE, priests supposedly saved a portion of the manuscripts, transcribed them onto bronze plates (The Bronzebook), and later combined them with Celtic wisdom texts (The Coelbook).
The Kolbrin differs sharply from traditional Christian and Jewish scripture on several points. Some examples: A central feature in the Kolbrin is a wandering celestial body called “The Destroyer”. The text attributes major planetary disasters, such as the Genesis Flood, the destruction of Atlantis/Ramakui, and the plagues of Exodus. Of course, we know this was God Himself. Yet, in fringe history circles, “The Destroyer” is often equated with Planet X or Nibiru.
The Kolbrin describes advanced human civilizations existing on Earth long before Adam and Eve. It talks about different groups (“Children of God,” “Children of Men,” “Children of the Beast”) and interbreeding that supposedly led to various human lineages and ancient giants. More Hollywood than Biblical.
If there was any doubt, the Celtic portion includes stories about Joseph of Arimathea traveling to Britain after the crucifixion accompanied by a young Jesus. It portrays Jesus not only through the traditional Gospel lens, but as a mystic who underwent esoteric initiations (“Twice Born”) in secret societies near the Dead Sea and Egypt.
While the Kolbrin is popular among alternative history buffs, catastrophists, and New Age groups, it lacks historical verification. Because it is a scam. No ancient manuscripts exist. There are no surviving physical artifacts, bronze plates, or papyri, nor are there any historical mentions of “The Kolbrin” in medieval catalog lists or historical records before the mid-20th century.
The writing style, philosophical concepts, and vocabulary closely mirror 19th- and 20th-century Rosicrucianism, Theosophy, and British Israelism, rather than authentic 15th-century BCE Egyptian Hieratic or Ancient Brythonic syntax. The text was brought to light by groups associated with the Culdian Trust in New Zealand and England during the 1990s.

Dear Peter, I mean no disrespect to you but I think a deeper read with comparison and an open mind would serve the community better, I have found alot of Bible confirming things in “kolbrin” to just brush it aside so lightly and tell people it’s a hoax is doing a dis-service.

When comparing The Kolbrin to the Judeo-Christian Bible, several major theological, historical, and cosmographical contradictions emerge:
Creation of the World: Single creation narrative (Genesis 1). God creates out of nothing (ex nihilo) in an orderly sequence. Dual/Cyclical Creation: The world was created, destroyed, and reborn on a “second wheel of creation”.
Origins of Humanity: Adam and Eve are the first human beings (Genesis 1–2).Pre-Adamic Humans: Advanced human civilizations existed long before Adam and Eve, who were created later for a specific spiritual role.
The Cause of Cataclysms: Driven by divine judgment (e.g., Noah’s Flood as retribution for human sin). Celestial Astronomy (“The Destroyer”): Disasters are caused by a passing celestial object/planet orbiting the sun.
Nature of “Fallen Angels”: Spiritual beings/angels who rebelled against God (Jude 1:6, Revelation 12).Mortal Men: Refers to mortal men from an advanced pre-Adamic society who intermarried with Adam and Eve’s lineage.
The Exodus Narrative: A miraculous deliverance of the Israelites led by God and Moses (Exodus).Egyptian Perspective: Retells the plagues and Exodus as natural fallout from a cosmic cataclysm, downplaying Israelite miracles.
So if the Bible, and it is, is the Word of the Living God, then anything that contradicts it is a lie. Yes? Do you believe that the Bible is the Living Word of the Living God and is infallible? Could you explain where I’m wrong?
