Welcome to the pool @RhinoGarett. Jump right in to the deep end, or wade in through the shallow end, either way you’re going to get wet, and undoubtedly meet some pretty interesting swimmers. Some are power swimmers, some divers, some snorkelers, and some just like to splash about in the kiddy section. At times the water is crystal blue and smooth as ceramic tile, other days the water is choppy, murky, and has some disconcerting “warm spots” in it as you swim about. Don’t worry, you have your “Live preserver” on. I do recommend you shower both before, and after getting in the pool, you know, just to be hygienic.
