Highly Recommend Trying These Prayer Rituals

During some of my hardest seasons, I’ve found that simple prayer rituals have grounded me in ways I didn’t expect. When everything feels chaotic, these little practices help me breathe again and remember I’m not alone.

A few things that have made a huge difference for me:

  • Breath prayers; just inhaling “Lord, give me peace” and exhaling “I release this to You.” It calms my body and mind fast.
  • Lighting a candle as a way of saying, “God, I’m here. Please meet me in this.”
  • Praying through a single verse when I can’t find my own words.
  • Hands-open prayers where I physically release what I can’t control.

Find a peaceful spot in nature. Just sit relaxed and listen. No need to speak, just absorb. If you’re in the sun, feel the warmth and thank God for such beauty.
