Regular personal Bible reading, prayer, and committing to a group of believers.

Don’t get caught up in apologetics.
Don’t get caught up in eschatology
Do understand that you can’t admire other believers to the point that if they prove to be wolves in sheep’s clothing,theives or liars that you will crash along with them.
Do pray, observe, read a translation you can understand, and never, ever decide to cover up wrong doing in the church in order to keep the church unsullied. Truth always leaks out.

Yeah. My dad says, “Apologetics make you apologetic.” Not completely sure what he means, but I agree.
How does one grow in faith? the same way one grows by eating good food, by exercising and by resting.
Do you tread and pray about the bible?
Does your church sermons challenge you in how you live?
Do you take part in bible studies and in evangelism?
Do you trust in God for your salvation?
An old puritan once wrote:-
" If you want extraordinary experiences of God, enlarge your ordinary devotions!"
in englisg, spend more time worshipping him.
