How Do You Recognize God’s Guidance in Everyday Life?

Lately I’ve been thinking about how subtle God’s leading can be. Sometimes it’s a clear “yes,” but a lot of the time it’s more like a nudge or a quiet sense of peace (or lack of peace).

I’m curious, how do you personally recognize God’s guidance?
Is it Scripture that “lights up,” the counsel of others, an inner sense of direction, or something else entirely?

I’d love to hear how others discern God’s leading in their day-to-day life.

Gods leading isn’t subtle. He gives us guide lines and principals and expects us to use our God given intelligence to work out how we apply them to daily ife.

It is like being at work. The owner/chairman does not meet you as you come in and tell you todays duties. As a regular employee you have been taught your tasks and are expected to get on with them.

Christianity is the same.

We have the ten commandments and Jesus's interpretation of them.
We have basic principals like don't get drunk to teach us that useing mind altering substances are not to be used etc etc

Is God telling you to become a missionary? Well are you a key member of your churches teaching staff? If yes then God is almost certainly telling you something.
If you just attend church and do nothing, then God is certainly telling you to get involved in the church.

Does God give guidance on a daily basis. No, You knoe that you have to get up, get washed, dress and go to work.
