Personally, in my marriage, I feel really loved by acts of service. My husband and I are a team. While I usually cook because I enjoy it more, he helps me out by washing the dishes and taking out the trash. We like to make Sundays our “reset” day where we both put our heads down and clean the whole house. We’re similar in that our minds feel crowded and we get more stressed the messier our space is. So I love that my husband values and prioritizes keeping our house clean, and I never feel like everything is on me. If anything, he loves vacuuming, doing laundry, and changing our sheets more than I do.
