Hi,
What translatation are you using?

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. KJV

I need God’s mercy. It is because of His mercy, I receive His grace through the faith He gives me to believe in Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. KJV

I have been, by grace, through faith, created in Chist (a new creature) unto good works. And it all started because God was merciful to me; a person who did not deserve anything but death.

So please, I needs my mercy. It is the only way I have of being cleaned of all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
