I can as far as possible by going out to the world preaching the gospel and not minding whosoever that does not want to listen to me.

Encouragement goes a lot further than preaching. IF the mission is to lead people to Christ. I taught college for many years, and each Fall street preachers arrived to stand on the sidewalk and hurl insults at students and faculty, along with a mix of Bible verses to back up the insults.

Feed the sheep, don’t clobber them on the head with a bat or run them through with a sword.

I am not saying you do this, but I do think you have opened a good discussion on the topic :blush:

“Speak the truth in love” Ephesians 4:15. Most people think that this verse means to speak the truth in a way that doesn’t hurt anybody’s feelings, but that view is not supported by 2Corinthians 7:10-11. It means to speak the truth in an attitude of love.

Get to know people and before long they will ask you about your faith. Then fill them in. Getting in the face of strangers doesn’t lead to conversions. Real friendship does. And proof texting on shuts down conversation.

Agreed. My husband & I had a friend who was a recently-divorced dad (his daughter was friends with our 2 daughters). We got to know each other pretty well. One morning, he asked me, “You’re ‘church people’, aren’t you?” I told him that yes, we were Christians. He asked if we minded if we took his daughter to church. He had no interest in going but thought it would be good for his girl. We would pick her up every Sunday (they only lived a couple of blocks away from us). When Christmas came around, his daughter begged him to come see her in the Christmas pageant. He did, and met a number of other members of our church. Long story short, a few months later, HE was baptized!

Key of David can unlock doors. Church of Philadelphia. Those who understand deep truth Gods word. We plant seeds, and only Jesus can germinate those seeds.

We have no control if any seeds germinate. It’s up to Jesus.
