How to pray for daughter that is involved with witchcraft and other religions

I need guidance and advice on how to pray for my daughter(35) that is taking up witchcraft and also including other religions. She is a Christian. She describes herself as an Omnivert. She says, “The ‘witchcraft’ I practice involves using herbs, crystals, incense, and candles, to amplify my prayers.”
I have been praying about this, but I don’t feel like my prayers have been very effective. Talking to my daughter about her practices has been like talking to bricks. I figured the only way to confront this is through prayer, but I need to understand how to do this correctly.
Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
C. Foster

May I suggest that you come ti me to talk with your daughter, to understand just what she be.ieves.

Try ask her, what do you believe/mean when you describe yourself as Christian?

And what evidence do you have for your beliefs?

You want her to tell you what she believes, if she is Christian or if she believes in some other religion or wicca and how this fits in with Christianity.

It could be that she no longer considers herself Christian. In which case you want her to say why she is not Christian based on what evidence?

You need to be fair liar with the facts for the historical bases for Christianity.

Lee Strobels book The case for Christ, .looks at the real historical evidence.

Has many useful articles, as does answersingenesis.

Your attitude in this is she can believe what she ,likes so long as she has a rational reason to believe it. Only Christianity is rational, witchcraft is not from God, so what power is it calling upon?

Lastly “ omnivert “:-An omnivert switches between introvertedness and extrovertedness.
Omniverts can exhibit characteristics from both introverts and extroverts depending on their mood that day.The main characteristic of an omnivert is the extremity of these shifts: one day they are extremely introverted, and the next day they are extremely extroverted.

While this can be annoying it has no baring on what one believes about spiritual things.

I pray that as you listen to your daughter and gently show her the errors in her reasoning that your love and care for her physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing will bring g her to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

I hear the burden in your heart, and I just prayed with you for your daughter. Scripture reminds us that only God can open eyes and soften hearts (2 Corinthians 4:4–6). Keep praying that she will see the sufficiency of Christ alone and that the Holy Spirit will draw her back to truth.

You don’t have to have the “perfect” words. Romans 8:26 says the Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t know how to pray. Simply keep lifting her up by name, asking God to reveal His power and peace in ways no crystal or ritual ever could.

May I ask, how are you finding strength and encouragement for yourself in the middle of this? :revolving_hearts::revolving_hearts:
