Wouldn’t it be wild if we got it all wrong. We take a few fragments of scripture and folklore and weave them together to create a narrative and character that we call Satan into existence only to find in the last days that the devil’s greatest trick was not to convince the world that he doesn’t exist… But that he was ineffective, jobless, and had no bite.
We find out God presides in a court room, and He has this Prosecutor trying cases. They call him Satan, the Accuser. And the Accuser is trying this one specific case against Humans, trying to argue that maintaining Human life is a waste of time and precious resources. The whole thing should just be abandoned or cleared out for something more productive.
God who naturally enjoys what He creates works with a system of laws in order to be fair and impartial. Because miracles are expensive after all. Bending reality to save one human life or soul may not come without a few quirks. I mean, pausing or redirecting the path of natural consequence just so people wont suffer? Imagine what it takes to save a world about to end?
So imagine that instead of one person or soul at a time, this court weighs all the cases at once. Together. The Kingdom of God verses Earth.
Satan lays down his argument. And it goes as follows:
Since the beginning, humans were no good. They don’t follow instructions. They eat fruit that.doesn’t belong to them.
You send Your Son to guide them, they murder Him, they take His teachings and twist them. From Him multiple churches rise only to fall. And now in these last days we look around… Does anyone still care?
Children elderly folks cry themselves to sleep with no food or care. Abused, neglected, assaulted. Every day people are constantly saying, “I wish it was over.”
They don’t care for themselves, let alone each other. What are we still doing here? Why keep it going?
